The county of Colleton shall notify its citizens of public hearings or meetings with regard to the CDBG program in the following manner. Notice of public hearings shall be published in the Colleton County local newspaper, the Press & Standard at least seven days prior to all CDBG public hearings or meetings. Such notices shall be prominently advertised in an appropriate, nonlegal or nonclassified, section of the newspaper. Public notices identical in content to the newspaper ad shall be posted at the Harrelson Building and County Courthouse. Additionally, information concerning the time, place and subject matter of CDBG public hearings shall be provided to one or more local radio stations for public broadcast. (Ord. 89-O-86 (part), 1989)
