Any member, who is recommended by the Colleton County planning commission for dismissal, may be removed for cause by vote of a majority of the county council after a hearing upon proper notice to the interested party. Any fact which is deemed to affect adversely the public interest, including unexcused absence for three consecutive regular meetings, may constitute cause. (Ord. 98-O-9 § 4, 1998)
