All members shall serve without compensation and shall be residents of Colleton County. The members shall be selected by county council to represent a cross-section of the community and may include residents of incorporated municipalities. No member of the planning commission shall be the holder of an elected public office. (Ord. 98-O-9 § 5, 1998)
