3.04.030 Dismissal of accountants.

The administrator with the consent of a majority of council voted upon at a regular or special session may dismiss the accountants or accounting firms contracted with in the event at least one of the following contingencies occurs:
A. The firm fails to perform accounting duties assigned it by the county;
B. The firm is late in providing the reports or data required by law or by the acts of council;
C. The chief accountant or any of his or her staff is indicted for a felony;
D. The chief accountant or such members of his or her staff becomes unable to function due to physical or mental impairment or due to dependence upon drugs or alcohol. (Amended during 1995 codification; Ord. 86-O-30 §7, 1987)
