Except for those sections where penalties are already specified:

A. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a civil fine as follows:

1. For a first offense the person, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).

2. For a second offense or subsequent offenses, the person, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

3. Each day’s violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.

B. Any person violating the animal care or rabies control sections of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) and/or imprisoned for thirty (30) days for each such violation.

C. Each day’s violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 04-O-09 § 6, 2004; Ord. 03-O-01 § 19, 2003)
