Chapter 9.08 RESISTING ARREST
9.08.010 Violation--Penalty.
Any person who knowingly and wilfully: opposes or resists any
law enforcement officer in serving, executing, or attempting to serve or execute
any legal writ or process or who resists any lawful arrest, whether under
process or not, will be in violation of this chapter.
An individual found guilty of a violation under this section
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not
more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and/or imprisoned not more than thirty
