Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to extend to the following:

A. Noises from agricultural equipment;

B. Noises resulting from any authorized emergency vehicles, when responding to an emergency call or acting in time of an emergency;

C. Noises resulting from emergency work;

D. Noises from school bells or church bells or chimes;

E. Noises resulting from specific functions, such as holiday celebrations or parades, for which a written permit has been issued;

F. Noises resulting from church activities;

G. Noise resulting from activities sponsored or co-sponsored by Colleton County; and

H. Noises resulting from any bona fide construction activities. (Ord. 98-O-23 § 6, 1999)
