A. After the establishment of the uniform naming and numbering system, any house, building or structure erected or located in Colleton County must conform to this chapter in order to preserve the continuity and uniformity of the system.

B. No "certificate of occupancy" shall be issued by the Colleton County building department for any house, mobile home or business without first displaying the correct address issued by the 9-1-1 department. The address must be displayed in accordance with this chapter. (Ord. 99-O-30 §§ 3.0, 3.1, 1999)
