14.12.140 Camps and recreational vehicle parks.

Camps and recreational vehicle (RV) park, where permitted by Table 1, shall comply with the following site and design standards.
A. The site shall be at least five acres.
B. The site shall be developed in a manner that preserves natural features and landscape.
C. The following dimensional requirements shall serve as parameters beyond which development shall not exceed.
1. Maximum impervious surface ratio shall not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the project site.
2. Minimum setbacks for all structures and recreational vehicles shall be:

Street frontage
100'
All other property lines
50'

3. Maximum density shall not exceed ten vehicles per acre.
4. Buffer yards shall be as specified by Section 14.16.010.
D. Areas designated for parking and loading or for trafficways shall be physically separated from public streets by suitable barriers against unchanneled motor vehicle ingress and egress. All drivers shall be located at least one hundred fifty (150) feet from any street intersection and shall be designated in a manner conductive to safe ingress and egress.
E. All streets within RV parks shall be private and not public.
F. Each park site shall be serviced by public water and sewer or other systems approved by DHEC. (Ord. 99-O-25 § 3.14, 1999)
