Q. Am I eligible for VA benefits?
A. Eligibility for most VA benefits is based upon your discharge from active military service under other than dishonorable conditions. Active service means full-time service, other than active duty for training, as a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard. Generally, men and women veterans with similar service may be eligible. VA benefits will not be provided to any veteran or dependent wanted for an outstanding felony or warrant.

 

Q. How do I apply for VA Health Care Benefits?
A. By completing VA Form 10-10 EZ Application for Health Benefits. This application can be obtained from our office or any VA Health Care facility and Regional Office. You may also apply on-line at www.1010EZ.med.va.gov or by calling 1-877-222-vets (8387)

 

Q: How do I obtain a copy of my DD Form 214 and service treatment records?

You may begin the process online at archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records or access the Standard Form 180 at archives.gov/files/sf180-request-pertaining-to-military-records-exp-april2018-1.pdf

Complete, print and mail the application to the appropriate address listed on the form.
