Colleton County is accepting applications/resumes from qualified individuals for the position of part-time Library Clerk with the Colleton County Memorial Library.  The successful candidate will under general supervision, perform various library functions including assisting at the circulation desk checking materials out and in, registering patrons for library cards, answering telephone, directing patrons to services and assisting patrons with public access equipment, etc

Requires a high school diploma with one to two years of routine office experience and experience dealing with the public; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Must have excellent customer service skills and a basic understanding of computers, web searching, email and Microsoft programs (Word, Publisher and Powerpoint). Able to work occasionally at nights and on Saturdays (Variable Hrs.). Pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check also required.
