Colleton County Government is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Probate Court Clerk III (Part-Time). The successful candidate will, under limited supervision, perform a variety of clerical and related general office functions; assist public with inquiries related to estates, guardianships, conservatorships, and marriage licenses; perform general research; and coordinate office scheduling.
Requires high school diploma and one year experience performing clerical or general office tasks. Equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities will be considered. Successful candidate should possess strong communications and computer skills, familiarity with office equipment, ability to understand and carry out complex instructions, and the ability to work with the public in a pleasant manner. Pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check are required.
