Animal Control is responsible for enforcing the ordinances of Colleton County and the South Carolina laws pertaining to animals. Animal Control Officers receive training through the National Animal Care and Control Association. Colleton County Animal Control provides service to residents and businesses Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. An officer is available for emergency response after hours, including holidays and weekends. For after hours emergencies, call 843-549-2211 and provide the necessary information to the dispatcher who will contact the officer on call.
