Colleton County Government is accepting applications from qualified individuals for Part-time Golf/Pro Shop Assistant with the Recreation Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the golf pro shop facility and course. Will interact with patrons, providing excellent customer service and satisfaction. Will also be responsible for maintaining pro shop inventory, and performing routine manual labor to include assisting with tournament set up, as well as routine landscaping duties.
Requires previous cashier/cash handling experience, previous customer service experience at a public facility, and previous golf playing experience. Must be able to lift 40 pounds up to 50 times in a six-hour period. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Pre-employment drug screen and satisfactory background check are also required.
