Colleton County Government is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Tournament Coordinator with the Recreation Department. The candidate will be responsible for managing events and athletic activities at the Recreation Center as well as ordering uniforms for all sport seasons. Will also assist with registering, coordinating, implementing and advertising for all activities at the Recreation Center.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with experience in planning, supervising and implementing a program or project or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have strong organizational skills, be a self-starter and people-oriented. Experience with community/recreation programs a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. A satisfactory pre-employment drug screen and background check also required.
