Colleton County is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the part-time position of Children’s Services Assistant. The successful candidate will assist juvenile and adult patrons in locating library materials and using electronic resources. Will also perform a variety of other duties including assisting with special programs.
Requires 2 to 3 years’ experience working with children, ages 3-12, in a public library, school or child care setting. Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Publisher or Canva. Variable work hours, a pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check are also required.
