Colleton County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Food and Beverage Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the food and beverage service staff at Dogwood Hills Golf Course to include the Dining Room, Patio, Lounge, Banquet Hall and Beverage Cart. Will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service by overseeing all aspects of service and service staff during operating hours, while working in a clean and safe environment, and meeting all financial goals for sales and expenses. Will work under the supervision of the Golf Course Manager.
A four-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum of 4 years of progressive responsibility in food and beverage industry and a minimum of 2 years of personnel management, preferably in a club/golf/hospitality/service industry required. Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall excellent customer service, proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as solid time management, organization and prioritization skills required. Pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check also required.
